The No Chance in Hell Wish-List
I'm normally very anti-materialistic, but sometimes I get the same urges as everyone else.

Simon and Garfunkel have reunited and are on tour again!

I wanna go to one of their shows, desperately! But I don't think they've even scheduled a performance nearby.

And I can't help thinking of Johnny Cash's recent passing and how much loss I'll feel when these two pass eventually. I might never get to hear them in concert (and if you know me really well, you know that I love live music but have never made much of an effort to attend concerts unless they're free and local).

Blessed are the sat upon, spat upon, ratted on...
Blessed are the meth drinkers, Pot sellers, Illusion dwellers...
Blessed are the penny rookers, Cheap hookers, Groovy lookers...

And I want real poker chips...These aren't even the ones I want, but they're a great price for a whole bunch of 'em. I'm envious because I've been wanting them for a while, but kesterly is actually buying some with her birthday money. I'm happy for her (and excited because she'll be sharing them with us when we play small home games) but I'm still jealous.

And a dishwasher. I want a dishwasher. Hell, I have a dishwasher, but I'm sure zordac is tired of his hands always being pruny.

I want all my mp3's back that I lost when my harddrive died...::sniffle:: I miss them. Most have been recovered because of redundancy on other people's machines, but nany I'll probably never replace because they were some obscure but beloved 80's songs (I know you're all crying for me, really.) and a few small-time independents from when I DJ'd at the campus alternative station. Oh well, they were free...

And a hackey sack.

mood: another wasted night...

If you'll send me a list, I'll see which ones I have backed up for you... I have quite the eclectic collection, so I may have what you've lost.

Re: Mp3's

Very very sweet of you to offer.

There's a problem though. Because many were somewhat obscure (at least the five-year-old brain who first heard them), I can't remember all of the artists and song titles. Many it took years of waiting and by chance hearing it played on an 80's radio station and then either writing down the name or searching for lyric strings.

I've got a giant paper list running that I carry with me nearly everywhere I go (is that sad?) in case I remember something. I will type that list when I get a chance and maybe post it here. I'll reimburse you for the price of CD-R's and shipping if that's the way you want to go or perhaps access to an ftp server. Either way, I'll get you a list sometime and appreciate any help, even any thought of help. Thank you :)
