Where the hell are the Muppets when you need them?! - Salvador Dali in a lawn chair.
I'm invisible without 3D glasses.
Where the hell are the Muppets when you need them?!
I just watched Requiem for a Dream.

It was fantastic, but traumatic.

But I think I'm going to have to watch Sleeping Beauty, The Care Bears Movie, and The Last Unicorn before I'll be able to sleep.

Kathy's Song lulls me to sleep. Thank you, Paul.

I hear the drizzle of the rain
Like a memory it falls
Soft and warm continuing
Tapping on my roof and walls.
And from the shelter of my mind
Through the window of my eyes
I gaze beyond the rain-drenched streets
To England where my heart lies.

My mind's distracted and diffused
My thoughts are many miles away
They lie with you when you're asleep
And kiss you when you start your day.

And as a song I was writing is left undone
I don't know why I spend my time
Writing songs I can't believe
With words that tear and strain to rhyme.

And so you see I have come to doubt
All that I once held as true
I stand alone without beliefs
The only truth I know is you.

And as I watch the drops of rain
Weave their weary paths and die
I know that I am like the rain
There but for the grace of you go I.

mood: disturbed
music: I want the "Requiem" soundtrack and remixed soundtrack

I love the last unicorn! My girl made me watch it, and it was so great!

PS, the same director from requiem also did the movie Pi, like the symbol, and that is also a great film.

Yep yep, so I heard from the DVD. Pi is now on my netflix rental queue.

And The Last Unicorn was my favorite when I was a child. I had it taped off of HBO only a beta max video tape that I soon warped from so many viewings. Even after the tape was unplayable, I kept it for sentimental value for many years after.

I totally understand. That movie creeped me out for quite some time. Something about it really gets beneath one's skin, does it not? I also agree with the soundtrack part. They've got some great music.
