A Thankfully Thoughtless Morning

I slept ten hours last night. Mama and Horace just left this morning.

We were at an estate/antique auction in Aberdeen all day yesterday. I'd never been to an auction before, so it was a rather thrilling experience for me. I learned so much about how auctions work, about antiques and their relative prices, the kind of people who frequent such auctions, and that auctions really are the untapped resource for high-quality, cheap furniture.

I'm eating left-over shrimp pasta for breakfast before jumping into work. alcamar and Jennifer want to go to Memphis today for dinner and movies, but I don't think I'm going to have time. Perhaps I can fudge it and still make time.
