Free Books
I have far too many books, nearly 400 at first blush.

I moved my bookshelves out of my office so that I could have a wall free for hanging canvases and writing surfaces. In the process, I decided to get rid of 15-20 books. I either have duplicates, read them and didn't care for them, or haven't read them and have no urge to. I didn't make much of a dent, but these I know I don't want to keep for loaning out to friends. So they are free to anyone who wants them. The rest will go to the local library or Salvation Army.

I can give them to you the next time I see you or hand them via proxy to someone who will see you sooner than I will. All are paperback and have no collectors' value.

Textbooks (of passing interest):
Java Software Solutions
Telecosm: How Infinite Bandwidth will Revolutionize Our World

D&D for Dummies, Sorry, kesterly , I own the manuals now and have actually read them.
two thesauruses (one pocket, one larger, both paperback)

Robert Jordan's Lord of Chaos, book six Wheel of Time
Douglas Niles Circle at Center
Lucas & Claremont Shadow Moon, a sequel to the Willow movie storyline.

Dragonlance series:
Legends trilogy (all three books, Raistlin and Caramon) (reserved for Will)
Tales Volumes 1-3 (short stories)
Kindred Spirits The Meetings Sextet Vol. 1
Darkness & Light Preludes Vol. 1

I don't expect anyone to actually want these, but just in case, I decided to post them here. I know I have a lot of friends who are Dragonlance fans (even though I am not).

Something I joined a while back, but never got around to actually cataloging my book list for, is http://www.bookmooch.com/. The idea being, you post books you have, other ppl post theirs. You send yours to someone, get points. You spend points to request books from someone. You keep or trade them back off for other books when you're done.

Basically you pay shipping, and you trade around books for ones you like. It's not like you have to trade one dragonlance for another, no book has value over others, so crappy books that get traded to other ppl are just as valuable as the latest Harry Potter that's being traded. So if there are some books you would like to read that are out there, you could post this list up and see if ppl wanna trade you for points for them and sorta go from there. Just an idea for those books that don't get traded to friends :)

I may choose to do this later on. At this point, whatever isn't taken by friends, I'm inclined to take to the library.

But thank you for the heads up because one day it may come in handy.

I could probably use the D&D for Dummies.
